I want to share with you a photo I took last year; my trip @ Hue, Viet Nam.
This location is called Nam Giao, a Sacred Space where Viet Kings came to pray for Heavenly guidance, similar to America, as most of our leaders pray to God for guidance prior to making important decisions that will affect us all.

When I was @ Nam Giao, I had to pinch myself making sure I was not dreaming because this is a place I heard about during my youth, and always wanted to see in person, but my parents didn’t let me because of the war. And, notice the birdhouses posted near the trees.  Heaven!
….. Fast forward November 2017 ~ Hue, Vietnam
I inhaled and exhaled with enlivenment, feeling blessed. So serene, so heavenly that I could feel my prayers had been answered.

I received Facebook messages, emails, and phone calls, asking me to share my talk last week, because attendees were too busy ..  laughing and forgot to take notes.

Ah!  Great compliments, indeed.  So, these are key items I shared at our AREAA  event last week, and THANK YOU for attending our first event of 2018.  You are appreciated!

We all have 3 kinds of luck:

HEAVEN LUCK:  Born into the right family, the right country.  In my opinion, if we live in America, we already have Heaven luck, because America is the land of opportunity.  We can be anything we want to be.  Equal Opportunity regardless of our  background.

MAN LUCK:  Depends on our ability, work hard, long hours, to achieve a desirable lifestyle.

FENG SHUI LUCK:  Using 6,000-year-old Feng Shui Science to help us overcome bumpy rides to make things flow smoother for us.

When we combine all 3 lucks together, the sky is our limit.  We can be anything we want to be.

However, if you are only applying Feng Shui luck and neglect Man luck, or Heaven luck, it is not going to work; period.  And, that is my disclaimer because in California, we are flooded with Attorneys.  Do you know that California is a state that has more attorneys than any state in America?

I am a firm believer that “what flows to you, sticks to you” meaning, during my talk, if you find information worth remembering, write down what’s important to you.

I am an anti-handout advocate because during my career, having attended thousands of events,  I discovered that once I’ve taken the handout home with me, they most likely become clutter, and clutter is the number one enemy of feng shui.

By the way, Have you noticed that a CEO’s desk most often is clutter-free while most clerk’s desks are filled with clutter?  What is your goal? A CEO or a Clerk?  Your choice.

In traditional Feng Shui, there are 9 periods.  Each period lasts 20 years.  We are now in Period 8.  Period 8 began the year  2004 and will end in the year  2024.  Period 8 favors young men.  You’ve witnessed the rise of President Obama, Mark Zuckerberg, etc.…

However; Period 8 is half over; watch out men, the next period will favor women.   Women will rule and when women work together, forming a “girls club” be fearful, very fearful, indeed.

Photo of a girl’s club,  BB Brains and Beauty, women boss’ at WCR Women Council of Realtors

Proof ~ women are starting to surface in places once occupied mostly by men, like the San Diego Board of Realtors (SDAR), the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), and, look at WCR, Women Council Realtors where (BB) Brains and Beauty (women) have taken the top positions and rule with a soft smile, and carry a big stick.

In the male dominant country, China, the 7th richest woman in the world, in her 40s, Zhang Xin, is richer than President Donald Trump, Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey.

Chinese believe number 4 is bad luck because in  Chinese, number 4 sounds like the word die, therefore, Chinese believe number 4 is death.  Superstitious.    That has nothing to do with feng shui energy star numbers.

Number 8, is an infinite, complete number, and Chinese believe number 8 will bring prosperity and all dreams to come true.  Again, it has nothing to do with feng shui energy star numbers.

The only numbers we should be concerned about in Feng Shui, are Flying Star numbers representing different forms of energy that circulate and change yearly; one location to another, good one year, does not mean it will be good for next year.

In this chart, you will see there are numbers, and being a nerd by profession, I love to work with numbers.  These numbers represent which locations to avoid, and which locations to occupy to benefit with good energy just like weather forecast announcements that warn of a hurricane, or sunshine, etc.…

The star number 2, in this chart, represent illness.

The star number 3, disagreements, deteriorating relationships in business, or personal.

The star number 5 is the worst, bringing all kinds of misfortune, health, wealth, relationships…

The star number 7 suffers theft, violence, and reputation.

These are the only numbers that traditional feng shui practitioners use to chart your home, based on your birthday and the year your house was built.   Each home is unique as a person fingerprints.

The color red is not lucky for everyone.  The misconception is the color red, Fire Element, representing money. More red, more money; wrong!

My client painted her door red, and her finance suffered because Fire melts Metal, meaning whatever she made, she couldn’t keep.

Remember, red may be good for one person does not mean it is good for another, and vice versa.

New wave feng shui talks about missing sections, when, in fact, energy is still there, in the land, whether your home is built or not. Energy is  just like air, you know it is there but you cannot see it.

Wealth, Health, Relationships, Spiritual, Family, Mentor, Career, Fame, Love, yes, you can have it all, but not equally.

Look at the chart, and be honest with yourself.  What do you really want in life? And focus a percentage on that section.  Don’t clutter your Vision Board with magazine pictures which later becomes clutter and part of your furniture.

Using your Feng Shui Vision Board, at the end of the week, on Sunday, look at it again, and see if you are closer to your goal.  If not, why not, and make changes accordingly.

For an example, if you are single, and want love, does your closet have enough space for your new love to come in and hang his jacket?  If your closet is too full, packed; indirectly, you are telling the universe you don’t have room for another.  Wow! Just the three of you; me, myself and I.  Ahhhhh!

Today, for the first time,  married couples became a minority of all American households.

Multi-talented women are CEO’s of large corporations, and many own their own companies competing well in the male-dominated business world.  Women also have been creeping inch by inch towards the presidency of our great nation since the days of winning the right to vote, and perhaps this accounts for women being on track to control 75 percent of the wealth in the U.S. by the year 2020.

The first United States of America Vice President female candidate,  Geraldine Ferraro

Does this mean we are having a yin and yang culture clash?

Have no fear, opposites do attract, and the romantic month of February and Valentine’s Day will remain intact.  How?

Once in a while,  take a back seat.  It will improve relationships and compatibility as these changes need to take place to bring balance into your relationships.  And he will feel good too, that you stand by your man.

Can we build, construct and evolve further? Feng Shui provides the answer. The principle of yin and yang is fundamental to understanding how the world is changing today. Yin, the passive principle, symbolizes femininity and, yang, the active principle, symbolizes masculinity.

Let’s begin with the black and white feng shui symbol called the Taiji. This symbol illustrates the eternal action between yin and yang. Like two sides of a coin, yin can never separate from yang. Together they represent the law of nature, perpetual and unceasing change. Time changes, seasons change, chi energy changes, the environment changes and so do people.

Finding a balance between opposites is primary to feng shui. As a pendulum swing left to right and vice versa, the principle of yin and yang teaches that our yin will eventually revolve to yang, and thereafter, the yin to yang to restore balance.

What do 65% of the women living in the U.S. alone without a spouse have to do with yin, yang, and feng shui? A lot; much of feng shui relies on plain old common sense. The female pendulum has been swinging back from decades of representing its passive nature, and now swinging to the opposite side representing its active nature and until it reaches its peak and back to restore balance, create perfect harmony, for wealth, health, and relationships.

Lastly, your home represents and can affect your love life.   Look around your home.  Does your home have room for two? Do you display everything in a pair or a lonesome one?  Remember, love comes in a pair, single in despair.
